John Rigby Deluxe. 12 gauge SELF OPENER. 28" chopper lump barrels feature a raised game rib inscribed "J.Rigby & Co. London England". 2-3/4" chambers fitted with Briley chokes, London Proof 1992. Double triggers, auto ejectors, auto safe. A special order gun, the signature Rigby lock plates with game scenes of woodcock and pheasants. A setter engraved on the action bottom. The fences are carved in the traditional Rigby leaf style motif. Bold scroll surrounds the game scenes and completely covers the remainder of the action. Retaining 95 % brilliant case color hardening and 99% blue this is true collector quality. Fabulous straight hand stock of rich red color and ribbons of black smoky figure throughout measures 1-3/8" comb, 2-3/8" heel, 14-3/4' LOP over the leather pad, about 3/8" cast off. Weighs just 6 lbs., 6 oz. and balanced at the pin. Presentation oak and leather case with a full complement of horn handled nickel plated accessories all marked John Rigby & Co. complete this package. A very special Rigby that rivals any London Best.
