Offered is a U.S. Army 1909 RIA-marked holster for a Colt .38 caliber revolver (Rare). This is a rare item and seldom encountered. It may be from the Filipino war and is marked: M 3 Cav. with the #5 below. Appears to be a Calvary holster. The holster is in excellent condition with the toe plug in place. The stitching remains in perfect condition. There are no gouges or marks on the leather. The rear of the belt flap is stamped: Rock Island Arsenal 1909 T.C.C. It includes the metal hanger. It remains in original condition and the US marking on the front is bold and clear.
