I purchased this rifle in 1979, in its present condition, from a private party claoming to be the original purchaser. The rifle has been on display and unfired since my purchase. Estimated manufacture date is 1966. This is the Sports Model M65, with a 25 inch barrel, chambered in the fabeled 7x61 Shart & Hart. This was considered a top grade rifle of its time. Famous for its fast butter smooth action it was a premium weapon outclassing its Weatherby compitition Beautiful color case trigger guard and magizine plate retain full color. I rate this rifle a excellent minus. Tiny wearing of the blue at muzzle and 2 small faults in the stock...see photos.
