Description:
Smith & Wesson .455, chambered in .455 Eley. Features include: 6 1/2 inch barrel, unshrouded ejector rod, checkered wood grips, 6 shot fluted cylinder. This is the Mark II version of Smith & Wesson .455 revolver. It was contracted by the British during World War 1 and thus shows British proof marks of crossed pennants on the left side of the frame as well as other proof marks above the grips. Bore is shiny and clean. Grips are in decent condition despite having a crack on the bottom. All the bluing has turned to a brown patina. .455 Eley
