.40 cal, NVSN, 33 inch barrel, silver to brown metal finish overall, walnut stock, barrel cut for false muzzel and bullet starter, brass trigger guard, back action lock, double set triggers, "cast steel" stamped on bottom of barrel. custom tang sight, 23 pounds, 1850's-1860's.
Condition: excellent bright bore, smooth silver brown metal finish, brass trigger guard/patch box/butt plate dull silver, excellent wood, excellent mechanically.
