Description:
This Walther PPK was manufactured in 1930 and is a blowback-operated semi-automatic pistol is chambered in 7.65mm (.32ACP) and developed by the German arms manufacturer Waffenfabrik Walther, in the German town of Zella-Mehlis Thuringia. It features an exposed hammer, a traditional double-action trigger mechanism, a single-column magazine, and a fixed barrel that also acts as the guide rod for the recoil spring. The "PPK" is an abbreviation for Polizeipistole Kriminal (literally "police pistol criminal"), referring to the Kriminalamt crime investigation office. While the K is often mistakenly assumed to stand for kurz (German for "short"), as the "K" variant of the Walther "PP" series pistols have a shorter barrel and frame. -PLEASE NOTE- the holster and grips appear to be original issue and show multiple cracks/chips and wear. 7.65MM (.32 ACP)
