Description:
This 1948 lever action rifle is a The Marlin Firearms Co model 336-R.C. chambered in .32 Special. It has a fixed blade brass dot front sight, adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight, a smooth curved trigger, a 20-inch round barrel (JM stamped), a 14¼ inch LOP, an overall length of 39 inches, a round walnut fore arm, a thick pistol grip butt stock, and a soft black rubber Limb Saver butt pad. It has an ambidextrous hammer spur. The bluing is in overall very good condition, with loss on the sharp edges, some thinning overall, but no rust or pitting is observable. The fore arm is in very good condition, with only minimal handling wear noticeable. The butt stock likewise is in very good condition, with two small (4 mm) light compression marks to the right side of the grip area, but with no chips, scratches nor cracks. .32 Winchester Special
