A Very Early Civil War Colt Model 1849 Percussion Pocket Revolver With A 4 Inch Barrel In Fine Plus To Excellent Condition. Serial # 78,530, all matching numbers and made in 1853. The revolver has excellent metal and markings throughout with excellent edges. The cylinder has an excellent scene all around it. The barrel on the gun retains most of its original factory blue on it. The cylinder has excellent original blue turning to a natural patina in spots. The frame, hammer & loading lever have excellent original case colors. All screws are excellent throughout with original blue on them. The backstrap and trigger guard retain excellent factory silver on both of them. The grips are excellent plus throughout with a wonderful color to them. They retain their original factory varnish on them. The revolver has an excellent action and bore.
