Description:
This is a fantastic Remington 700 BDL in 6.5 - 06. The rifle was built by Randy Melvin of Bull Mountain Rifles in Billings Montana. The barrel is a Lilja stainless fluted and is a full 25 inches long. 1 in 8 twist that is otimum for all hunting weight bullets. The 700 action has been trued and bedded to perfection. It is fully capable of 1/2 inch groups and is from the estate of my best friend. He would not hear of selling it when he was alive. The cost of creating this rifle on a low serial number 700 BDL action is all but prohibitive these days. The total number of rounds through this gun is gauranteed to be less than 100. It wears a Leupold 3-9 x 40mm scope with the popular Duplex Long Range reticle and Leupold mounts. As a bonus I will throw in the RCBS dies. Will ship in the lower 48 ststes for $60.00
