Saginaw M1 Carbine with bayonette. This rifle does have an underwood barrel on it, stamped 8-43 with a bomb. The reciever is stamped US carbine CAL .30 M1
The front band is stamped JMQ. The bayonet lug is stamped EM-Q. The rear sight is stamped B-SG. The stock has a P stamped on the grip and a SG stamped on the right side. The safety is stamped SG in the left side. There are scattered scratches and dings on the stock as well as the metal, as expected in a rifle that has seen combat. The bayonet sheath is stamped USM8 on the front.
