Description:
It was manufactured in 1940. It has Standard Winchester markings, including the factory oval proof on the barrel and receiver, a dovetailed blade and elevation-adjustable sights, a 17-groove round forearm, and a straight grip stock with a checkered Winchester plastic buttplate. The factory picture box is renumbered to the gun.
Rating Definition:
Excellent. The rifle retains 95% plus the original blue finish, showing some thinning to a brown. The wood is excellent, showing a few very scattered minor pressure dents.
