Description: This 1970s era semi-auto pistol is a Carl Walther Waffenfabrik PP - Super chambered in 9X18 mm Police and imported by Interarms, Alexandria Virginia. It has a 3½ inch wavy textured serrated top rib barrel, a fixed white dot low profile front sight, an adjustable square notch blade white dot rear sight, a curved serrated trigger, a left-side thumb decocker, a round magazine release button, a serrated hammer, rear slide serrations, and a right side slide release. The high polish blued finish is in very good to excellent condition, with some light handling wear to the underside of the muzzle. The dark brown checkered grip panels show some light handling wear throughout. The Walther PP Super is a unique version of Walther's PP Series. It was designed and released in 1972 and was an all-steel PP chambered in 9x18mm Ultra (also referred to as 9mm Police or 9×18 Police and should not be confused with the Soviet 9×18 Makarov cartridge). This pistol was originally intended to be exclusively used as a police pistol. Like many others it is a blowback operated double-action pistol. Only 2,000 units were ever adopted by the German police forces in the 1970s and because of this Walther stopped producing this variant in 1979. 9X18MM SOLD Metal Condition: "The bluing is in very good to excellent condition, with some light handling wear to the underside of the muzzle Wood Condition: Dark brown checkered grip panels show some light handling wear throughout Bore Condition: Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling Barrels: 3½ inch barrel Triggers: Curved serrated trigger Stock Dimensions: 7 inches in overall length Weight: 1 lb 10 oz Sights: "Fixed white dot low profile front sight, adjustable square notch blade white dot rear sight Item Location: Wichita, KS |
