Here's a Fine Example of The gun that Won the West ! Winchester Model 1873 , Serial number 180,527 . Shipped on May 18, 1885 . Comes with a copy of the Factory Letter . 44-40 caliber. 24" Octagon barrel . Comes with original sights . Gun has most of the original finish thinning to a nice blue plum patina . Markings are sharp. Normal wear and tear on metal . Original stocks are in pretty good shape untouched. a small piece of wood is missing on top of the butt plate , overall walnut stocks very good condition. Bore and mechanics are very good . Bore is a little ruff but has strong grooves and still will find its mark ! Gun is in very good working condition. Overal a Handsome Winchester 1873 rifle in 44-40 cal.
