Remington model 550-1, 22 cal. Rifle. Made probably in the 40's, this is one fine gun.
Thus is a semi auto, shooting s, l and Lr. Very accurate gun, Remington has forever been known for high quality and high accuracy.
We looked inside this gun for dirt, rust, whatever. We found nothing but a clean gun showing no wear we could see!
We fired 6 shells through it in a second . 24" barrel with ejector shield,( great for left or right hand shooters) These guns known to not jam.
Wood and blueing are excellent! You can't go wrong with this gun.
