F. Lli Poli Custom Hand Engraved Anson Extra double ejector guns in 16 gauge. Both guns are hand engraved with 28” engraved barrels marked IC and IM (both) with bright and excellent bores. The shotguns are identical in features and dimensions and are in Excellent/Like-New Condition with light handling marks. The barrels are adorned with triangular wedges of foliate scroll on the sides of the muzzle and breeches with “ANSON EXTRA” engraved on the tops of the matted ribs. The sideplated frames, pierced foliate top levers, and other metal surfaces feature a beautiful coin finish with sprays of loose floral scroll with elegant foliate and geometric borders. The underside of the frames are engraved “Armi F. Lli Poli,” and the triggers are gold-plated. The high-grade walnut chosen for these arms features beautiful grain figure. The English with checkered hardwood buttplates flanked by scalloped toe and heel plates and splinter forends with push-button releases are perfectly checkered with wraparound panels. Both guns have drops of 1 1/2” and 2 1/4” with LOP 14-5/8 and 14-3/4”. The guns are in a beautiful Emmebi of Italy case. serial #’s 1392 & 1394. Monogram plates “PC / M”.
