Description:
The S&W Model 19-3 Texas Ranger Commemorative was made in 1973, with 10,000 manufactured (approximately 8,000 with Texas Rangers knife, approximately 2,000 without). The 6-shot revolvers were fitted with a 4 inch pinned barrel, red ramped front sight, adjustable rear sight, color case hardened finThe ished target hammer and smooth combat trigger, non-checkered cocobolo target grips with brass Star of Texas medallions, is blue finished, and chambered in .357 Magnum. The left side of the barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON”, the right is marked “TEXAS RANGERS / S.&W. .357 MAGNUM”. The left side of the frame is marked with a small S&W’s monogram logo, the right is marked with the four line Marcas Registradas. The side plate is marked with a Texas Ranger seal bearing the Star of Texas surrounded by “STATE OF TEXAS / TEXAS RANGER COMMEMORATIVE COMMISSION” with “1823” above and “1973” below. The bottom of the trigger guard has also been narrowed by the factory. The gun is new/unfired with only a slight drag line on the cylinder. Comes with its original wood presentation case (which in like new condition, with only a few very very minor handling marks), orignal numbered to the gun S&W blue box, factory provided screw-driver, cleaning rod, bore brush, bore mop, paper-work, and shipping box/container.
