Description:
Springfield SN 2073729 is a Crane rebuild Marked O-66 on the rear shelf and has a 6/53 barrel that muzzle gauges near zero and this is no joke. It has some minor pitting on the left front leg and shows some wear on the barrel and Gas Cyl Lock in front of the front sight. The bore is mirror likewith a white throat. The stock and handguards are nicely matching and the action locks up tight. Originally manufactured in 1943 it had been upgraded several times and is a mixmaster of parts. The final upgrade was by Navy Crane and is a genuine Marine Garand. The Trigger Assy and Bolt are SA, The Cyl Plug is IHC, the Op Rod and Hammer are Winchester. These O-65, O-66 and O-67 rifles are not easy to find and would make a wonderful shooter and addition to any collection. S1700 delivered to your FFL/C&R. I am a current C&R Licencee.
