Description:
It s a very nice Sportsman 48, but with an issue. It has a crack in the buttstock on both sides running from the frame to the stock checkering right in the middle in line with the stock screw. It is priced accordingly. Otherwise it has a 28" barrel, choked MOD, barrel date code is KA, which appears to be May of '54. Hand checkered wood is very nice, and it has a mirror bore. Pachmayr buttpad is still soft, bluing overall is excellent. Vent rib is mostly straight with a minor push in the 4th section from the rear. Again this is priced based on its condition. If you have the ability to fix the stock, it's a deal. $45 shipping to the lower 48, 3% surcharge for using a CC. If you pay with a personal check, you can expect us to hold the item for up to 10 days to ensure that the check clears.
