he Beretta® A400 Xtreme™ Plus Semi-Auto Shotgun, with its rugged black synthetic stock, is an all-round, go-to semi-auto shotgun that's well suited for nearly any type of hunting. The A400 Extreme Plus shoots 2-3/4", 3", and 3-1/2" shells interchangeably without having to make adjustments. To hold up to long days of pounding heavy waterfowl loads, the A400 Xtreme Plus features advanced recoil reduction systems, such as Kick-Off Mega, Kick-Off3, and Soft-Comb stock, which reduce felt recoil by as much as 70%. The barrel is made of Steelium Plus steel with an extended forcing cone for obtaining consistently tight and uniform shot patterns. The 7x7mm stepped rib has a wider plane and an integral steel mid-bead and a fiber-optic front bead. The charging handle and bolt release are oversized to facilitate operation with cold, gloved hands. An expanded and beveled loading port reduces thumb-bite and facilitates operation with gloved hands. The receiver is drilled and tapped to attach a Picatinny rail (rail not included). The A400 action features a rotating bolt, and a self-cleaning piston to ensure the shotgun operates in all conditions and is low in maintenance. The A400 easily disassembles without tools. The cross-bolt safety is positioned at the front of the trigger guard, where the hunter can find it instantaneously. Manufactured in 2022 12 Gauge
