These are known for their smooth cycling, short bolt travel, and 60° throw angle due to their flapper locking bolt lugs at the rear of the bolt. Colt Sauers are dressed in a fine American walnut stock with 18-line hand checkering and a high-gloss finish. A rosewood forend and grip cap add intrigue, while the deep bluing is an art to behold. The .243 Winchester is a popular sporting rifle cartridge. Based on a necked down .308 Winchester, it is a versatile short action cartridge used to hunt both medium game and small game alike.
