Here's a Excellent Example of A Factory Engraved Marlin Model 1893 ! Serial number 139497 . 38-55 Caliber .Options : Factory Engraved with 2 Game Scenes and extensive Engraving on barrel and takedown , Fancy Factory Checkering , 3X Beautiful Pistol Grip Deluxe Wood , Half Round Barrel , Takedown Feature , Buckhorn Rear Sight , sporting front sight , half magazine and crescent butt plate ! Barrel and tube have all the original finish still remaining with dings and light scratches from handling. Frame and take down have most of the original case colors still remaining thinning from age .corners are Sharp. The Factory rear sight filler holes are factory original . the screws are just missing. Engraving and checkering are razor sharp . Deluxe wood has all of its original finish still remaining Wood to Metal fit is Excellent! Bore and mechanics are in excellent condition.
