This Used Type 56 SKS rifle was manufactured by the Jianshe Arsenal /26\, also known as state factory /296\ on behalf of the Chinese Government for the Vietnam War effort. It features a 20-inch barrel, 10 round internal magazine capacity and adjustable iron sights. This rifle features a certification plaque attesting to its historical provenance as it was captured by the United States Armed Forces - Alpha Company 1/505 82nd Airborne Infantry, while on mission in the "Iron Valley" during the Vietnam conflict. The plaque is inscribed with the details of its discovery and capture. The included news clipping contains additional supporting information. 7.62X39mm
