Description:
Winchester Model 1890-slide action rifle chambered in .22 WRF. The Winchester Model 1890-slide action (pump) rifle was the firm's first slide action rifle, made from 1890 to 1932. This is an 1892 non-takedown example. Magazine tube beneath the 24.5" full octagon barrel. Straight butt stock and ribbed forend with a crescent steel butt plate. John Browning collaborated on the development of this rifle. .22 WRF
SOLD
Chambers: Pump action.
Metal Condition: Barrel retains fair amount of original blue. Receiver shows some remaining case colors to faded gray finish. A couple gouges on the left side barrel by the forend.
Wood Condition: Two small cracks by the upper and lower tang with a few dents on the right side stock. Chip in the wood by the right side tang.
Bore Condition: Very good reflective bore with strong rifling. Appears to have a spot of leading in the barrel.
Barrels: 24.5" barrel.
Triggers: Single.
Stock Dimensions:
LOP 13".
Fore End: Ribbed.
Butt Pad: Metal.
Weight: 5.5 lbs
