Description:
Serial #2412, .30 Mauser (7.63 x 25mm), 16" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. The metal of this carbine retains nearly all of an overall Du-Lite blue finish fairly recently applied throughout. The edges and markings are still rather crisp and clear, although there are some small areas of pinprick pitting scattered about under the newer finish. As it was made from a Model 1930 Commercial pistol, the carbine is outfitted with the later "Universal" safety, and has a wood forend and detachable buttstock with sling swivels, matching numbered stock iron, and a nicely fitted Decelerator recoil pad. The wood is in excellent shape with only a few minor handling marks marring the reapplied varnish finish. The action is fully functional and the pistol is mechanically excellent. This is a great looking Broomhandle carbine, and is in very good overall condition. FFL or C&R;
