These are extremely scarce rifles. Originally contracted by Garrett to build some of the most authentic copies of various models of Sharps rifles, Palmetto made a few more after Garrett folded. Very few of these Gemmer style 1874 Sharps rifles were built and rarely come up for sale. This example is chambered in .45-70 and in excellent condition, probably 98%. The bore in the heavy 32" barrel is bright, shiny and sharp. Action is crisp and tight. Double set triggers work, but need adjustments to your preference. Two leaf rear sight, vernier tang sight and silver blade front sight. Plain Walnut stock has only minor handling marks. Crescent sporting rifle buttplate. LOP is 14.25". Rifle weighs 11.2 lbs. Must ship to FFL. Make sure they will accept from private individual or add $30 for mine to ship. $1800 + Shipping. Won't likely see another any time soon.
