Description:
This vintage rimfire semi-automatic target pistol is a High Standard M-101 Dura-Matic chambered in .22 Long Rifle. It has a fixed blade front sight, a square notch rear sight, a serrated trigger, a push button safety at the rear of the frame, a loaded striker indicator at the rear of the frame, and a unique thumbscrew takedown. The bluing is thin overall and in fair condition, but no rust or freckling is observable. The rear sight has a ding on the top left edge. The grip panels are in good condition, with some handling wear, but no chips or cracks are observable. The M-101 Dura-Matic is a highly collectible yet affordable firearm. Known for its impressive accuracy and top-notch quality, the M-101 Dura-Matic has been trusted over the years by everyone from small game hunters to the OSS, the predecessor to the CIA.
