Description:
The shotgun is also based on the swing bolt loading and unloading system. This one is in 12 Gauge. A very nice aged looked to this gun with most finish remaining on the bbl. It has turned an antique brown/grey towards the end of the bbl. Towards the frame iit is a bluish medium brown color. Receiver is a pleasing grey antique patina. Equipped with a metal buttplate. Wood is VG overall with usual handling mars. Nice solid pieces of wood. Some pitting in an otherwise shiny bore. The Whitney Phoenix is seldom seen in any configuration and especially in a shotgun. Good affordable collectable.
