Presented for your consideration, a fine Merkel 203 EL over/under sidelock shotgun in 12 gauge. Merkel is regarded as one of the finest firearms in the world, made with old world German craftsmanship. The 30" barrels have excellent bores, 3" chambers, vent rib with bead and mid bead sights and are choked full and IM. The trigger is a single selectable. The receiver is highly embellished with hand detachable side locks and fine scroll engraving. The forend is of the 3 piece style and finely checkered. The English style stock is checkered and has Germanic carving done at the wrist. The action is smooth and solid. This fine gun weighs in at just under 7 lbs. The single trigger is selectable. Length of pull is 14" - drop at comb is 1 1/2" - drop at heel is 2 1/4". The inlaid brass initial plaque has been engraved. This Merkel would make a very sleek and nimble field gun of the finest quality and would be an excellent investment.
