This is a Vintage Smith and Wesson Victory chambered in 38 Spl. This gun was manufactured circa 1942-43 based on its serial number. The weapon is marked with “US Property”, with the flaming bomb, and with the armor stamp of "GHD". The pistol is amazing original parkerized condition and does not appear to have been refinished. There is holster wear but overall condition is amazing for its age. The grips are not the original grips but they are factory and period and model correct. The bore is still well defined and clean. Also included is original lanyard swivel on the butt.
This sale comes complete with the factory leather holster. The holster is very good condition with some surface wear but is very solid and a great addition to the weapon and its history. On the inside flap was written the name of a US Marine
