Description:
26 inch octagon barrel chambered in 25-35 WCF caliber with a very good bore showing light frosting in the groves with sound rifling. Sights include a Lyman blade front and Winchester sporting rear. Full length magazine tube. Barrel and magazine show about 60% finish with wear and handling marks. Receiver shows about 30% finish with more blue in protected areas and the balance showing a brownish gray patina with initials FMF and perhaps a name scratched into the left side. Crescent rifle butt plate. Walnut stocks are solid and full fitting with wear and handling marks. Manufactured in 1904
