Mossberg Model 44 US (d) - Bolt Action .22 LR Training Rifle - Smooth one piece target stock and forend with adj. sling swivels and metal butt plate. 26 In. long heavy barrel with Micrometer click receiver peep sight and a hooded front sight with 4 sight selections. 7 round clip style magazine. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 90% bluing . Stock and forend are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks. Includes a new soft sleeve. Overall condition is excellent . Rifle appears to have had very little use. This model was used as a training rifle for the US Armed Forces in WWII. Great addition to any collection.
