Description:
Special order features include a 22 inch round barrel with a 3/4 length magazine tube. A near excellent bore and crisp action. Shotgun butt with a hard rubber buttplate. Sights include original ramp front sight that is common on the Extra Light Weight rifles. This has a Lyman dovetailed front and a platinum 3 leaf Express rear with a folding tang sight as well. Also features the correct 8-3/8 inch length forearm to go with the 22 inch barrel. Most thinning barrel and mag blue remain. Receiver has about 10% blue on the right side 20-25% on the left. Good traces of case color remain on the hammer and lever. Walnut stocks look good with just some light handling mars. Also a small "R" stamped on each side of the forearm and each side of the stock. A very special order gun that is going to fill a hole in somebody's Winchester Model 1894 collection! Made in 1899.
