This LIKE NEW CONDITION SA-85M is an AK-styled rifle made by Fegyver És Gépgyár (F.E.G.) of Hungary and imported by KBI Inc. This rifle is a semi-automatic civilian version of the Russian AK-47 and sports a unique thumb-hole butt-stock which allowed it to be sold in a "sporting" configuration to get around certain U.S. gun laws at the time. It was imported into the United States in what is called the "pre-ban" era for the importation of certain manufactured rifles helping to make it a legal hunting rifle in the United States. This was a preferred choice of Kalashnikov style rifles over the cheaper but inferior, Chinese models. This is a super clean and rare to find firearms perfect for any collector or enthusiast. . 7.62X39mm
