Antique circa 1850's Kentucky/Pennsylvania percussion 45 caliber long rifle. Very nice full stock tiger stripe maple that apparently was shortened about 8 inches during its period of use. The lock is marked Davidson and Company, Cincinnati with set triggers that function. The trigger gaurd, nose cap and but plate are brass with a brown patina. The barrel and lock are dark brown color. The rifled bore is approximately 45 caliber with good rifling that needs cleaning. The total length is 50 inches with a 34.5 inch barrel. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
