Description:
EARLY (1965) 700BDL in VERY Nice original condition. In this time frame Remington was using stainless steel barrels on there magnum rifles. I believe they were supplied by Hart Barrels and they shot extremely well. Many you find these days have the bluing flaking off as it did not adhere well to the stainless . This one is an exception, with no flaking present and the metal finish in the 98% range. 24" barrel and bore is like new. Bolt face and action wear indicate few rounds thru this rifle. The stock has some light handling marks and impressions with only one noteable deeper round impression(pictured) above trigger on left side. I would still rate wood in the 95% range.
