"Serial No. 5556136, made in 1943, .30 carbine, 18"" round barrel. Bore is bright and shiny with handsome rifling visible. Front sight is unmarked and barrel has faint ""W/P"" inside oval noted. Type A parkerized barrel band has a wide unmarked swivel. Receiver is marked ""WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK/5556136, rear sight is marked ""S"" on the left side. Recoil plate is marked with ""W"". Stock is a later low wood with light handling and usage marks visible. Stock is marked ""Ordnance Escutcheon-W.R.A/G.H.D."" faint rack number that was painted in white is noted. Action is smooth and functions correctly, comes with Oiler, CMP paperwork, and box. Consignment.
