Serial No. 1779096, circa early 1943, .30 carbine, 18"" round barrel marked ""UNDERWOOD/7-43/Flaming bomb"", milled front sight is marked with the letter ""N"". Bore is bright and shiny with handsome rifling noted. Hand guard is marked ""RSG"", Type II wide swivel is marked ""KV-S'G'"". Barrel band is unmarked. Receiver is marked "" SAGINAW S'G'/1779096"" Type I rear sight is marked ""RG-S'G' on right side and ""S"" on the left. High wood ""I"" cut stock is in very good condition with light handling marks noted. ""S'G'"" in square with Ordnance Escutcheon cartouches are sharp, Sling well is marked ""RSG"". Action is smooth and functions correctly. Comes with oiler, sling , CMP paperwork, and box. Consignment.
