Colt Baby Dragoon pocket revolver, caliber .31 percussion, 5-shot cylinder, 4" octagon barrel, brass trigger guard and back strap, walnut grips, no ramrod, correct squareback trigger guard, serial number 13193, made 1850 at the height of the California Gold Rush. Revolver is an overall light patina with traces of case colors on the frame and lever. Serial number matches on the barrel, wedge, frame, trigger guard, cylinder, bottom of grip and in upper channel of walnut grips. Very good screw heads. Cylinder retains 75% original scene. Very nice grips with the bottom left having 4 success notches. Action is tight and functions properly, indexing perfectly every time, a bonus with these old guns. Some nicks and dings are present on the barrel. There are a few very light spots of pitting on the cylinder. All the nipples are original and intact. Grades NRA Antique Good.
