Description:
Up for your consideration is a fine Antique Ballard rifle chambered in 38-55. Overal condition is very fine showing strong barrel blue and nice fading case colors. Comes with a original verneir tang sight, and a rocky mountain sporting front and rear sight. Action is tight, snaps into place and half cock holds solid. This one does not have lever drop like is commonly encountered. Bore condition is beautiful from muzzle end to breech end. This one was made in 1890, and can be delievered without a FFL. Hard to find Ballard in this condition and one you can still find ammunition for 38-55 Winchester if you so choose to fire it. All pictures were taken outside, please go through the pictures to tell the condition of this single shot rifle.
