Original Antique US Springfield Model 1868 trapdoor 50-70 caliber army rifle. Full length 32.5 inch barrel with both correct front and rear sights present. Full length dark walnut stock with both cartouches present on the left flat along with scattered dents and scratches from use. The breach block is marked US 1869 with the eagle head. The functioning breach block and lock are tight and crisp. The bore is clean with good rifling. The metal is smooth and armory bright turning a grey brown color?????. Overall in very good condition complete with sling swivels and the correct cleaning rod. Please feel free to contact me with questions. Shipping will be actual cost by usps mail.
