Spreewerk P38 9mm. Purchased by the consignor's family in 1951 from a soldier who brought it back from Germany, serial 4084 (3x: barrel, slide, frame) has a 5-inch barrel and brown synthetic grips. MARKINGS: "Z" appears 3x with serials, waffenamts on frame and slide. MAGAZINES: Two are included - one marked P38 and waffenamt 359, other waffenamt 708 and jvd. CONDITION: Treated as a family heirloom since purchase, the bore remains strong with possible trace indications of frosting. Mechanics are solid. Metal finish is approximately 85 percent. Grips are solid. No additional papers, accesories or history are present. The price is firm and layaway is available. $1,350 plus shipping.
