Many thanks to Tim S for his input NOW SOMEWHAT RARE FN SUPREME WHICH USES AN FNH ACTION AND SAKO # 4 TRIGGER:This spectacular rifle belonged to a friend who owns a large gun shop some distance from us. It was his persoanl gun, we bought it from him.
It is the same as a Browning Safari BUT SOMEWHAT NICER THAN A SAFARI AND was marketed by FN directly . with ..more extensive checkering . Chambered in classic 270 with a period corect Redfield.
In almost every respect this gun is as new and as it left Belgian many decades ago except as follows:. there was a small ship at the toe that had been professionally repaired but is not meaningful and does not detract from the guns striking appearance.It has the georgous light wood, the same engraved floor plates as the Safari's but has nicer full wrap around checkering on the forend . The deep highly polished original blue is 2d to none as is the brilliant engine turning on the bolt showing zero wear. These fine guns are head and shoulders above model 70s of the same era with respect to detail, polish and finish overall.
If the buyer doesn not want the Redfield 2x7 we will take 75.00 off the price of the gun.
