Batson,Jr. NATIVE DANCER A Horsehead Bowie Knife No.13 Damascus Steel 1st Horsehead Pommel forged from Damascus Steel from A Catalog of Eraly Americn Knives, handforged by James Batson , 1989 production. This knife is the very first and only horsehead pommel forged by this extremely talented Master Smith from the ABS. Black Beauty is a single piece of Damascus steel with two ebony scales inletted in and riveted to the full tang with two German silver rivets. The knife is 12-1/4 inches long. The maximum width of the blade is 1-3/8 inches. The thickness of the steel at the ricasso is 1/2 inch. Blade length is 6 inches. This is a one-of-a-kind creation as such knife was never reproduced. One of the finest and most difficult model ever produced model in Damascus steel by Batson. Free shipping USPS with insurance, tracking # and signature required.
