Made in 1876 and shipped to J.P. Lovell, Boston, MA. Excellent sporting rifle in .40-70 bottleneck cal. Gun remains in excellent overall condition with more case color than my photos show. Bores is excellent and quite bright, just a few pits noted ahead of the chamber. Stocks are sound with some minor handling marks. A great Sharps!
