Winchester - Model 70, 458 Winchester Magnum Supergrade
Marked SUPERGRADE on magazine floor plate, has ebony tipped stock with montecarlo check piece, SUPERGRADE checkering pattern, sling swivels, highest quality pre-1964 claw extractor, Jeweled bolt and extractor. Made in 1956, my father purchased it new at El Paso Sporting Goods. Been in our family ever since. Been used on one cape buffalo, and a couple of New Mexico elk. Lovingly cared for, all original condition including finish, except recoil pad which has been replaced. Open sights with factory original elevation adjustment on rear sight. Just not shooting this one any more, due to my age. As shown in the photos, very few extremely light marks on wood, easily 90+ percent condition. Very few of these are around, especially in this condition. One of the premier American rifles ever made, and one with a little history.
