Up for your consideration is a rare and beautiful Remington BDL Custom Deluxe, Sporter Weight barrel in 22-250 REM. This one features the enhanced embellished receiver! This one comes from my personal collection and remains in excellent condition. One might say that it's 99% ;)
Being a collector and close follower of these Engraved BDL's, it has been my experience that this is one of the toughest calibers to find in top condition with a low round count and will only continue to become harder to add to you collection!
With the absence of a date stamp, this one would fall between '99 and '00 The condition of the metal and the bluing is in very good condition. Factory front sight ramains and the rear sight has been removed and the proper filler screws installed. Jeweling and finish on the bolt is super crisp and shows to have a very, very low round count through it. Beautiful dark walnut stock, very rich in color with nice figuring, high gloss finish and skip line checkerin shows to be in excellent condition. An overall really good condition gun that would make a fine addition to a collection or a good looking, light weight varmint gun, perfect for picking off the coyotes, foxes and groundhogs.
I'm working on sorting out the next few i will cut loose, some of which are the embellished.
After many years of collecting, I have decided it is time to start going through and getting rid of some of the extras that I have acquired throughout the years, so keep an eye out for more engraved and Varmint 700's to come.
