Description:
Third Model Takedown frame with blued finish with 24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 22 WRF caliber. A decent bore with shine and visible rifling that may improve with a good cleaning. Barrel is a dull blue with some scattered spots of light corrosion. Original sights. Mag tube is more of a brown patina. Receiver is a gray patina that appears to have been cleaned long ago. Walnut stock is in good condition with some light wear and usage mars. Crescent rifle style buttplate also has some corrosion. Nice crisp action that should make for a fun shooter. About 849,000 of these were made between 1890 through 1932 and this one was made in 1923.
