An Early & Scarce Colt Percussion Model #6 Root Revolver In Its Original Case With Accessories In Fine Condition! Serial #10,032, all matching numbers. Made in 1866, all original and complete. Only 3,000 made. The revolver has fine metal, markings, and edges. It has a very good and full cylinder scene. The barrel & cylinder retain some original blue with the rest turning a natural plum color. The frame and backstrap retain most of their original bright factory blue on them. The hammer and loading lever retain a mix of case colors and natural patina on them. All screws on the pistol are fine. The original grips are excellent throughout and retain their original varnish on them. It has a fine action and bore.
The original case and accessories are nice throughout. The case has its original partitions and lining inside it. There is light fading as shown. The outside of the box is very good throughout. Inside the box is a double sided Eagle & Shield Flask, a Colt's Patent Root Mold, a burl handled screwdriver, & An Eley Cap Tin.
This Is a Fine Looking Example of A Scarce Colt Percussion Model #6 Root Revolver In Its Original Case With Accessories. This Colt Set Would Be A Very Nice Addition To Any Collection!
