Iconic...Perazzi MX-8 trap gun. 12 gauge, 32" barrels with "step" vent rib. .725" original bores with .030" full choke in the bottom barrel and .040" Extra Full choke in the top barrel...just the way the gun came when made in 1977 and imported by Ithaca. The MX-8 was designed for use in the Mexico Olympics of 1968 and so named. This design remains the staple/benchmark of the Perazzi line of competitve shotguns!
The Montecarlo stock is a #4 with dimensions of 14 1/2" over a replacment Terminator recoil pad with 1 1/2" drop at comb, 1 1/2" drop at Monte Carlo and 2 1/8" drop at the heel with 1/4" cast favoring a right hand shooter.
The gun comes with a selectible pull trigger assemby with flat springs OR a bottom releas/top pull by Hubbart OR a double release by Allem..all with leaf springs.
Weighs 8 lbs. 9 oz. All finishes are original with about 60% case colors, 95% blue and 95% wood finish wear on forearm checkering.
Mechanically sound. hammer is far enough right of center that I will assume that the locking block has been replaced.
