Description:
22 inch round barrel chambered in 30 GOV. 03 caliber with a bright bore with light frosting. Sights include a pinned blade front and a carbine folding ladder rear. Barrel has been refinished and is a mottled gray/brown color. The receiver appears to have been refinished long ago and is also a gray/brown color with two drilled and tapped holes for a receiver sight. Saddle ring is present. Walnut stocks are in good condition but have some hairline cracks and some chips. Carbine style buttplate with a trapdoor for a cleaning rod. Crisp action. This Winchester carbine was made in 1917.
